Pet Friendly Rooms

Pet friendly rooms in New Hampshire are hard to find. Thankfully, the Stonehurst Manor has more than just the lodgding. We have additional pet services to enhance the vacation experience. We know how hard it is to find someone trustworthy and kind to take care of the family pet while you are taking some time away. So, we have made it easyier on everybody by allowing you to bring them along.

There were plenty of beasts wandering about that he could choose from; some way too large and fierce to be considered cooperative and others he had to consider his own survival. Also, he had to analyze his own tasks to see where a pet friendly rooms "beast of burden" could best be utilized.

The domestication of animals by humans has been going on for centuries. Along the way, some of the smaller creatures then on earth probably came seeking man; the warmth of his cave and fire, the scraps of food thrown their way. Bonds were forged as man came to see that these "guests" had value as companions and loyal protectors against dangerous predators and, inevitably, their own human neighbors. Mankind at that time was also an endless wanderer, always searching for food and shelter with pet friendly rooms.

It probably started around the time man realized that, if the small, manageable tools he was creating for hunting and gathering were indeed making his existence easier, then imagine how much better it would be if he had something bigger and stronger to do the jobs beyond his capacity. Thus domesticating animals to help with the planting and harvesting came about.

It was apparent even then that felines felt themselves to be superior. Chasing mice was indeed beneath them but, if so inclined, made it clear that the effort was their idea, not yours. They always have a way of making sure you know who is the boss.

Agriculture became the primary purpose of their days which, in turn, gave rise to commerce and employment. By this time, these early entrepreneurs fully understood the value of their pet friendly rooms in their lives; no more working horses, mules or oxen to death because keeping them alive and functioning made better economic sense. Thus, taking care of them by providing shelter, sustenance and affection became standard practice pet friendly rooms.

Yet, there are a few cats out there that can rival any canine for loving affection and companionship. They may not like to play fetch or go on long walks, but they can show their fun side in other ways. Just don't take it pet friendly rooms personally.
