Canopy tours at Bretton Woods send you racing down the mountain and the Auto Road takes you up it, while you can also choose to walk right out our front door and choose any hike into the White Mountains.  Perhaps the most exciting event so far is the “Music on the Mountain!” Cranmore Mountain, as part of their summer concert series is welcoming many acts this Thursday, August 5^th to perform all night.  Acts like Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and Headliners, Need to Breathe and many more will be singing from 4pm in the afternoon until 8pm at night!  Check out the schedule at Cranmore here!

The Stonehurst Manor offers 25 rooms and has the unique offering of condos as well.  There are rooms with fireplaces, jacuzzis and beautiful views and shared patios.  The Stonehurst offers rooms with King and Queen beds along with Double beds as well, all you have to do is choose what works best for you!  The rooms are unique and elegant while still allowing guests to be comfortable in their own skin.  The newly renovated rooms in the Mountain View Wing offer stunning views of the gardens that grow on the 33 acres that the Stonehurst sits upon.  Beautiful hard wood floors and  a patio off of the rooms allow you to bask in the beauty of New England while the oriental rugs and flat-screened  televisions make the room feel luxurious. There are options for Queen and Double beds when staying in the Mountain View Wing and all of the rooms are pet friendly.

There is nothing worse than having to leave your pet behind and the Stonehurst Manor more than accommodates for these special members of your family.  We provide bowls for your pets to use during their stay and offer welcome treats and little bags for their walks.  The staff are also happy to provide information for what to do when traveling with a pet in the Mt. Grab your dancing shoes and jingle bells and join us at The Manor’s Christmas Party on Monday, Dec. 14. This much-anticipated annual soirée is for invited friends and guests staying at the Manor and is a memorable way to ring in the season! The Manor really "decks the halls" and, if you’ve been here before at Christmas time, you know how incredibly beautiful the sparkling lights, fragrant greens and holiday decorations look in this amazing setting.

Cocktails start at 6:00pm in the stone-fireplaced Library Lounge… a fabulous "apps to sweets" buffet is served from 7:00-8:00… and dancing to Flashback (a terrific band!) starts as soon as you put down your fork. Dress is "casual elegant" (please) and those dancing shoes should be ready to fly until midnight!
