North Conway Dining Gets Even Better!

Monday, July 12th, 2010

Our team is growing  at the Stonehurst Manor.   As always we are committed to providing the best  lodging and North Conway dining service to each and every guest and that means welcoming to our culinary team, Sous Chef Bill Haines.  Bill’s background includes opening his first restaurant in 1984 and a career of owning 5 bistro-like restaurants and working as an executive chef.  He has won awards for his restaurants and food, such as winning Best Appetizer of the Year in Atlantic City Magazine. Working along side Executive Chef Jim Davis, our guests are treated to specialties like prime rib prepared in a wood-fired grill or some of the best pizza in the Valley.

Take a look at our dinner menu to see what we are cooking up every night of the week.  And don’t leave breakfast out of the mix.  Our ricotta stuffed crepes with honey and berries or our homemade raisin cranberry French toast are a perfect way to wake up.  As a hotel guest, your rates include not only dinner but our impressive breakfast menu.  With this culinary team, we can promise that you won’t be disappointed.

Every Thursday night is a Manor Tradition; our Candlelight Dinner for Two.  We offer a two for $27 dollars  special on Thursday nights in our dining room. Reservations are required and you can reach us at 800-525-9100.  We serve dinner nightly from 5:30 pm until 10:00 pm.  As you are walking out of the dining room, don’t forget to throw you spare change in the wishing well!  All proceeds benefit the Rozzie Mae Animal Alliance.  It is perfect for a date night or taking a whole group out!

We pride ourselves on being a premier North Conway dining spot and now with our unstoppable team, we can’t wait for you to try any one of our famous dishes and find out for yourself how great our team at the Stonehurst Manor is!

North Conway’s Own Landmark Dining and Lodging

Monday, June 14th, 2010

With the season turning over, we are revamping our dinner menu here at the Stonehurst Manor.  We always serve inviting meals with a hint of decadence and unique, personal touches.  For the summer menu, it is no different.  Take a look at our newly updated dinner menu and tempt yourself with our breakfast one too!  Our “Thursday Candlelight Dinner for Two,” with any two entrees from our full menu at only 25 dollars is always a big hit and is always offered!  Also don’t forget to check out our rooms as well if your dinner date goes longer than expected!  We are a premier North Conway lodging spot and our great dinners are just one aspect of what we offer!  Call us today to make a reservation!

We are known for our smoked Prime Rib or delicious lamb shank. Both are authentic to the Manor and are tastes you won’t find anywhere else!  Although we would never lose those awesome dishes from our menu we are happy to serve new additions like Pork Schnitzel and Smoked Braised Beef Short Ribs.  Both offer aromatic herbs and sauces.  While the Pork is paired with capers, anchovies, lemon and parsley, the short ribs are braised with vegetables and a hint of red wine vinegar.  Don’t forget our wood fired pizza and make sure to check out our appetizers like the Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls or Tomato Mozzarella Flatbread, with homemade mozzarella cheese.

Most exciting to our menu though is our offer of Sushi every Friday and Saturday night.  We are so glad to be able to diversify our guest’s dining experience in the Mt. Washington Valley.  Make sure you stop by and visit us to see what we have cooking!

Dining Room

We are proud to say that we are famous for many things.  The lodging and mountain views are legendary.  Yes, the rooms and condos are spacious, clean and luxurious…and yes their location puts them in the perfect spot to walk out the door and hike or go shopping.  The excellent staff coordinates events and perfect weddings…and the Manor lobby welcomes you with eclectic interior that always keeps one guessing.  The staff is always making sure that everyone is enjoying their stay.

One thing in particular that you must include on your vacation is a dinner at the Stonehurst Manor.

The dining room is just as beautifully decorated as is the food prepared.  The Stonehurst Manor’s spin on classic foods merging with the comfort of home makes this a no-brainer when choosing a place to stay and eat.  One taste of their Smoked Prime Rib, Cedar Plank Salmon or Wood Baked Pizza and it won’t matter if you have a room or not, you will want to sleep at the table.

Everyone loves a classic New England “Wedge Salad” in monstrous proportions or a classically roasted Lamb with Fresh Rosemary.  Their award-winning chef, James Davis makes you feel right at home in the New England Setting with his simple, yet artfully prepared dishes which are complemented even more by their full bar and beverage menu!  Make sure to stop by for their 2 entrees for $25.00 specials on Thursday nights.

And let’s not forget about breakfast.  You’ll never feel more at home than when you’re eating the Raisin Cranberry French Toast or the Hunter’s Hash and Eggs made with their prime rib.  While sipping on a cup of hot tea or coffee and looking over the White Mountains from their dining room is when your dream vacation becomes a reality.  Call us for a reservation at area code (603) 356-3113 or toll free at  1-800-525-9100.

Although the Stonehurst Manor stands out on its own, they are proud to serve the best dinner and breakfast in the Valley.  With their unique and inviting interior, spacious rooms and prime location, the Stonehurst Manor is a place that cannot be missed morning or night. Contact us now for a reservation to enjoy lodging at it’s finest!
