Thrill seekers and adventurous nature lovers alike will NEVER forget the Canopy Tour at Bretton Woods! It’s the longest tree-top zip line tour in New England at 3.5 hours and well worth every minute. You descend over 1,000 feet in elevation on dual-cables (very safe) between a series of platforms with hiking trails and suspension bridges as connectors. Adventure Guides accompany you all the way and describe the surrounding area, its natural history and other White Mountains lore. Less adventurous but “what the heck” types may want to try their 20-minute Williwaw Dual Racing Zip to get a sampling of what it’s all about. Laughing while you scream is part of the fun! Amazing Conway Scenic Railroad Trips

Thursday, August 13th, 2009

North Conway Attractions

If you want to get "up close and personal" with the White Mountains, take a trip through Crawford Notch on Conway Scenic Railroad’s "Notch Train".  It’s a 5+ hour round-trip ride leaving the center of North Conway Village at 11:00 am several days a week in summer and fall and WELL worth the time. The views are beyond sensational… what you don’t see on the way up, you’ll see on the way back! There’s a snack bar on board but box lunches are also available if ordered with your reservation. Click on the link above for details!

You can also take trips on the "Valley Trains" that go from the North Conway Station to Conway Village or Bartlett Village. They are shorter excursions and can be fit in before or after lunch, shopping or any other activity.

VOUCHERS FOR THE CONWAY SCENIC RAILROAD available at the Front Desk. Be sure to ask!
