NH MAPLE WEEKEND LODGING PACKAGE

Sap buckets are ready and waiting for the warm days and below freezing nights of March to be hung for another maple sugaring season.

Come join us for a Sweet Weekend at the Manor
during New Hampshire’s Maple Weekend
-
Friday, March 21st – Sunday, March 23rd, 2014.

Local sugar houses continue to use the time-honored method of tapping trees, gathering sap by hand which is then boiled in an open evaporator over a wood fire. We all know it is worth their efforts as we enjoy local syrup each morning with breakfast.

Join us and visit the nearby 100 Acre Wood Sugar House between 11am – 4pm on Saturday for a demonstration and a sampling of this year’s batch. To learn more about the process, cross country ski, snowshoe or walk their Storybook Trail, a one-mile trail where you’ll read details at several stops along the way.
