The White Mountains welcome you to come discover and explore...

Spreading across Northern New Hampshire and into Maine is New England's most mountainous region, the White Mountains. Named for the blanket of snow that covers the tallest peaks almost year 'round, they are dominated by 6,288-ft. Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast.

The White Mountains are primarily granite and are characterized by their rounded summits, deep broad valleys, and U-shaped passes called "notches". Through these notches flow crystal clear, rushing rivers famous for the exciting canoeing and kayaking experiences they provide. Pristine lakes and ponds also offer exceptional opportunities to view the area's abundant wildlife. You could meet a moose, see a beaver dam, or surprise a family of deer at almost every turn of the trail or stream

North Conway Village is in the heart of the Saco River Valley, surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Presidential Range and 6,288' Mt. Washington. Along with the towns of Jackson and Bartlett, the area boasts a huge variety of both natural and manmade attractions and activities.

Stonehurst Manor is one mile north of North Conway Village on a very private 30 acres of pine woods and scenic vistas.
