From Fish to Fork: Chef Avi Visits Harbor Fish Market

That same demand for excellence is true for our sourcing of ingredients for our award-winning dishes. A true chef knows that no amount of skill or creativity can overcome seafood that is simply not up to par. In order to leverage the skills and experience of our chefs, we must provide them with the ingredients they need to get the job done right. This is why we are proud to get our fresh seafood from the local fish market, Harbor Fish.
Harbor Fish is a family owned fresh seafood distributor that has been in business for more than 30 years. Although they do sell to the general public, the majority of their business comes from fine dining establishments that will only accept the best quality seafood for their customers. Stonehurst Manor is fortunate to have such a high-quality fish market available to use locally, and we are proud of our ongoing and partnership with Harbor Fish. While we believe our chefs are the best in the world, we also know that providing them with the right ingredients is key to their success.
As a way to celebrate our ongoing relationship with Harbor Fish, Stonehurst Manor has decided to produce a series of cooking videos. These videos will feature our esteemed Chef Avi, and will focus on cooking with ingredients we receive on a regular basis from Harbor Fish. It is our intention that this video series will provide useful cooking tips for our followers, as well as promote knowledge about Harbor Fish and the unrivaled seafood they provide to Stonehurst Manor and their other customers. Stay tuned for the cooking series to be released this Fall!
We plan on having several videos in the Chef Avi cooking series, and in fact we already have two of his videos available on YouTube. The first is a video of Chef Avi cooking his signature New England Clam Chowder, and the second is Chef Avi’s Baked Stuffed Lobster. Over the coming year, we will be releasing several more videos, so be sure to check back on our blog, Facebook page, and YouTube channel for further updates.
