Fly through the air on a zipline at Cranmore or down the slopes on the Mountain Coaster at Cranmore. Travel the Mt. Washington Auto Road aboard their SnowCoach to above treeline for a truly unique winter experience. Snow tubing is available at Cranmore and Great Glen Trails. Grab your snowshoes and explore the almost 800,000 acre White Mountain National Forest or rent a pair and explore the trails of a nearby Nordic center. Ice skating is available either indoors or out. You can also travel the trails on horseback, in a horse-drawn sleigh, on a snowmobile or dogsled.

Many of these activities are available to Manor guests FREE or at a discount!

Tubing – tickets or vouchers available at our front desk

Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides – Ride the “Big Red Sleigh” at Farm by the River through a 70-acre family estate dating back to 1771 and travel through meadows and forests along the Saco River. Rides are approximately 45 minutes long and include cushioned seats, fleece blankets and hot chocolate. If you prefer a winter trail ride, discount vouchers are available at the front desk

Ice Skating – seasonal outdoor skating rink in the heart of North Conway Village in Schouler Park

Mt. Washington Auto Road SnowCoach Winter Sightseeing Tour

A very unique tour traveling above treeline in the winter on Mt. Washington, home of the world’s worst weather! Tours last approximately 1 ¼ hours and depart weather permitting on a first come, first serve basis. Tickets $39 ($10 discount) for departures Sunday – Thursday.

Snowmobile Guided Tours –
With over 6,000 miles of interconnecting trails statewide linking NH to adjacent states and Canada, snowmobilers have unlimited fun. Most of these trails are maintained by over 120 local snowmobiling clubs. Approximately 90,000 hours of volunteer work for trail maintenance including grooming, signing and construction are provided to give snowmobilers the safest and smoothest trails in the Northeast.

Sound exciting? Schedule a guided tour with Sweet Ride Snowmobiles.
They offer either half day or full day tours riding a single or double sled. They provide the sleds, the clothing, fuel, and the guide. Sign up for one of their planned tours or a tour will be planned for you based on your interests and the best area conditions. Full day tours will stop trailside for lunch (not included in cost).
Full Day: $295 each on a single / $395 for two on double sled
